Position: Installation Technician Assistant

LV Comm-Sec Inc is a small rapidly growing security systems integration company looking for a Technician Assistant. We are expanding and looking for an energetic person to join our team. This position is a hands-on/physical laborer type in the areas of cable-pulling, installing and troubleshooting various physical security systems (CCTV, video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and security alarm).
Our offices are located in Manassas, Virginia but work locations are in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. Company vans are provided to the Lead Technicians and Assistants can meet Leads at the office for transportation. Training is provided as necessary, some travel is required and there are advancement opportunities. Health Insurance, vacation, holidays, disability and 401K all offered.
Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license.
Must be a US Citizen.
Demonstrate safe work practices.
Must be able to pass security background check and random drug tests.
Must speak English fluently, Spanish a plus.
Must be able to use hand tools.
Demonstrate an enthusiastic customer service attitude including a friendly, "can do" demeanor.
Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to go above and beyond whenever necessary.
Must possess attention to details, thoroughness and follow through.
Demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate.
Must stay calm when dealing with difficult clients.
Must be willing to adapt and be flexible.
Must be a team player.
Must be well groomed and present self neatly and cleanly.
Must be willing to work in all different types of environments, indoors and out.
Physically capable and willing to move up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work on ladders
Can navigate stairs and other physical obstacles.
